For the most part I think it’s fair to say that 2009 was not such a great year or at best, an “okay” year. With rising unemployment reaching over 10% on a national level and as high as 12 %,13%, 14% and even 15% in some regions, let’s just say things have been a little stressful for most of us here in the U.S. during the summer and fall of 2009.
News of rising unemployment, the shrinking value of the U.S. dollar, increases in home foreclosures, tighter credit for small business owners and many other "bad news bears" seemed to dominate the nightly news leaving us literally numb. What could possibly top all this?
The only thing that could possibly shock us more, would be if Tiger Woods was caught having an extramarital affair with say 10 or more women in one year... Oh, wait a minute… that’s right, he did. I’m sorry.
Anyway, 2009 has been a very challenging year for most of us. Many of us have felt we as if we’ve been stuck in a sand trap with only a 10 inch rubber putter to get us out! (Sorry Tiger – I couldn’t resist)
And that is why we’ve worked so very hard this year here at Surfillustrated.com to help take your mind off the bad daily economic news, bad celebrity news, and weekly incarcerations and arrests of our favorite top sports athletes and heros. In return, we have tried our best at surfillustrated.com to serve up fresh, new, good, clean and decent images of great surf art, surf photography, and beautiful swimsuit models - something the whole family can enjoy - except your gramdmother with the cataracts who can't see... even though she's gone 420 since 2007 and has her own medical marijuana card.
Just as we have been committed to delivering quality imagery with excellence throughout 2009, we also look forward to providing quality and excellence in 2010 here at Surfillustrated.com. We will never leave you hanging on a hook (even Tiger) or expect you to enjoy just a small slice of life's wonderful pie. I mean think about it, why enjoy just one slice of pie, when you can have your fingers in 8, 9, 10, ,11, 12, 13, or even 14 slices of pie... right Tiger? You go boy!

While Tiger's libido and the stock market may have increased over 60% from March of 2009 to December of 2009, most of us regular working stiffs hardly saw an increase in our personal bank accounts. In 2009, we often heard the evening news anchorman or woman tell us that things were improving, unfortunately it seemed to be in another person’s world - like a bankers world - not ours.
It will be our mission in 2010 at Surfillustrated.com to help you take your mind off the state of the union, the state of the economy, the state of your state, city, country... hell, even the hemisphere you live in if necessary to have a better happier and brighter year! That’s how much fun and entertainment we are committed to providing in 2010.
We hope we can help you forget about the whole damn planet for just one or two minutes each day and enjoy some great surf art, surf photos and of course… some lovely, beautiful, gorgeous swimsuit models.
In 2009 we uploaded more gallery images for free visitors, as well as, more extra releases and desktop wallpapers for exclusive members than any years previous, and we look forward to doing the same in 2010. Get ready for a great year on Surfillustrated.com. Our editor is on fire with news and events and ready to write hot sizzling stories and editorials... Best of all, when we looked up the year our editor was born in the Chinese Calendar, guess what we year we discovered our editor was born in? Yep you got it.... THE TIGER! Is this freakin' amazing or what? We're gettin' Tiger fever in the office and it's out of control!
Tiger's are all the rage baby... yeah tigers are the hot new thing now - so get on board the "Crazy Tiger Train" and get ready to rock. We believe - and apparently so do the Chinese, that anything involving Tigers this year will be popular in 2010. Infact we just bet a million dollars here at Surfillustrated.com that the Detroit tigers will kick ass this year and win the 2010 World Series... that's how sure we are about this whole tiger thing - we are pretty much behind anything Tiger! Go Tigers Go!
In fact this year we can guarantee that we’ll probably upload more beautiful women on Surfillustrated.com than the total number of women Tiger Woods slept with in 2008 and 2009 combined! Okay maybe that’s a little crazy … but we’re gonna’ die trying!
Hell, you know what…Tiger Woods can sleep with 15 more women in 2010 – and I think we’ll still have more beautiful women to upload on surfillustrated.com in 2010 than he could ever dream of sleeping with while on the PGA Tour in 2010!
(By the way Tiger… how do you say Merry Christmas in Swedish? We were just wondering. Oh that's right ... is really doesn't matter... you probably won't be going to the family Christmas party in Sweden this year. Huh, is that because you got your "hog-in-daz" stuck in lot of "vaag-in-daz" this year. Don't know what we're talking about? Google it.)
And on a side note: All the new Cadillac Escalades will come fully equipped with a number9 wedge in the rear seat for busting out the rear window in the event you need to escape from the Cadillac Escalade - in the event you happen to drive the vehicle off a bridge into a raging river… or a fire hydrant... or your neighbor’s tree. Uh…yeah, that too.
Well, if you think college basketball fans are the only ones celebrating March Madness, think again. Surfillustrated.com will be celebrating it's own form of March Madness, however, ours won't be so mad, it will only be mad in the sense that we'll be uploading a mad number of the hot sexy images of swimsuit models and bikini models for your enjoyment!
