"I am too much of a Nydia!"
Nydia Cisneros. Orange County born and bred. An enigmatic soul, she
mimics the feel of the plastic, sand and surf of her surroundings. With
a father working for the famed mouse of Orange, and a mother cleaning
the homes of the privileged, Nydia was brought up with one foot in
fantasyland, and the other knee deep in the mire of reality.

A strict Protestant upbringing, coupled with the fake pomp and
circumstance behind the Orange Curtain, she found solace and comfort in
blank pieces of paper, wall, and canvas. As a child she would hand out
hand made greeting cards to anyone who happened across her path through
life.
Somewhere between then and now, she discovered the endless
possibilities of digital media and computer graphic design. With this
tool, she unplugged the finger hole, releasing the ocean of ideas
trapped inside her head. Three years and eighteen part time jobs later,
she walked away with a degree in Graphic Design from the Platt College,
School of Design. After graduation, she found herself designing layouts
for Ability Magazine, and creating presentation art and collateral for
toys and writing systems at The CDM Company Inc.
With another fork in the road, Nydia has just resigned herself onto the
new, and uncharted path of self-employment. Her new venture: the aptly
named "Unemployed Card Company"
Whatever she may do, this 22 year old will always be the small sticky
child running through the marbled halls in the business buildings of
life. |
